Booking Appointments
Body Kneads Etc is set up for pre-scheduled appointments. This is especially true if you need a specific time or prefer a certain therapist for your services. We suggest scheduling your time with us two weeks in advance for weekday appointments and four weeks in advance for Saturday appointments. Feel free to contact us at any time to be added to our wait-list. We will contact our wait-list appointments first to fill any empty time slots. If you have limitations and require special needs, please inform us when scheduling your appointment. Your safety is important to us.
BKEtc will require a credit card or gift certificate number to guarantee appointments. For group bookings, one credit card number may be given to secure the appointments, but will be charged for any cancellations or no-shows within the group.

Cancellations
If you need to cancel your appointment, we require a 24 hour notice for individual services and 48 hours for multiple services. In the event of a cancellation of less than 24/48 hours, the credit card or gift certificate will be charged 50% of all services that are cancelled if we are unable to re-book that time slot. In the event of a "no show", your credit card or gift certificate will be charged 100% of any or all services. For group bookings, we require a three day notice of cancellation. If a credit card is not on file, the account must be paid in full before any new services will be scheduled. Please schedule your appointments with care.
This policy has been established to insure that our service providers are compensated for the time they set aside for you. We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Arrivals and Late Arrivals
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time…and note that appointments may be adjusted within a 15 minute time-frame without notice. . This will allow plenty of time to make sure we have your client Information and Health History forms on file, use the restrooms, as well as answer any questions you may have. Client information forms must be completed before your treatment begins.
If you expect to be late, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make any adjustments needed to keep you and our staff on schedule. We try hard to stay on schedule. If you do arrive late for your appointment, your treatment time may need to be shortened. Although we will do whatever we can to accommodate late arriving clients, it will not always be possible for us to give a late client their entire appointment time. Our therapists, as well as the rooms are often booked for another service immediately after your appointment.

What to Expect
Clients generally undress completely for massages and spa treatments, however, the client may also feel free to wear undergarments, keeping in mind that they may get oily during their treatment. Our therapists are trained in professional draping and will keep you covered at all times, exposing only the area of the body that is being worked on. All services are non-sexual in nature. Improper behavior by the client will not be tolerated, the session will be stopped and full payment will be expected.

Therapists
All of our Therapists and Technicians are licensed. We have both male and female therapists/technicians on staff. If you have a preference, please let the receptionist know at the time of booking. Also, if you have enjoyed your experience with a certain therapist in the past, feel free to request them again.

Open Communication
Your comfort level is our top priority. Therefore at any time, please feel free to let us know if we can adjust any part of your experience to accommodate you, including light, music, temperature, or the pressure of the massage.

Spa Attire
Wear whatever you want to when you come to Body Kneads, Etc. We are a relaxed and comfortable setting. Robes and cozy socks are provided if you are here for a spa party or if you will be enjoying more than one service during your visit.

Gratuity
On individual services, gratuity is always appreciated, but is not required. Generally 15% to 20% is customary, depending on the quality of your experience. Gratuity is added at 20% to all packages and groups of three or more.

Cell phones
As a courtesy to other guests, we ask that you silence your cell phone while in the spa.

Children
For the safety of your children, please do not bring them with you unless they have a scheduled appointment. We are not able to offer childcare during spa appointments. We also ask that everyone use their "spa voice" at all times in the spa.

Is Lunch Available?
Yes, you can add lunch to your spa visit. Clients wanting to order lunch should mention it when scheduling spa appointments. We are more than happy to accommodate you. We will take your order when you arrive and have it ready after your service. Body Kneads Coffee Co has an amazing menu and will provide you with lunch for $20. Wine/Beer is extra.

The Fine Print
Most services are available side-by-side. Gift certificates have no cash value, are non-refundable, are void if lost and must be presented at the time of service. All major credit cards are accepted. Body Kneads, Etc, promotional offers cannot be combined together. Only one offer per person per visit. Other restrictions may apply.
SPA FINDER Gift cards are accepted on full price services and cannot be used for gratuity.
